Yehia El-Deraa

PROFESSIONAL HANDBALL PLAYER, NATIONAL HANDBALL TEAM MEMBER, AL-ZAMALEK HANDBALL TEAM MEMBER.

Yehia El-Deraa is an Egyptian handball player who plays for Al-Zamalek Handball team, and the Egyptian national Handball team. Yehia represented Egypt at the World’s Men’s Handball Championship in 2015, 2017 and 2019, as well as in the Summer Olympics of 2016 and 2020. One of Yehia’s many outstanding achievements is him being elected as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the opening match against Chile at the 27th IHF World Men’s Handball Championship due to his phenomenal performance, and winning a gold medal then too. Yehia El-Deraa is someone who leads by example and inspires others, us here at ASN included, that hard work does pay off, and we are honored to have him as a member of our ASN Athletes team!
